ABOUT
This is a special project for me as it was the result of aLabor of love. Illy approached us at UTOKA to produce a spot that demonstrated the ability to take their coffee on the go. Our original approach was to develop modes of transportation out of the Illy can, literally allowing the coffee to go wherever you wanted. The client originally loved the idea, but wanted to go with a more live action approach. After some internal deliberation and a great deal of extracurricular work time, we decided that we would honor the original pitch and produce this spot. Don't worry, we also produced the live action version, but this should be seen as the "director's cut" of that vision.
